Can I get directions from Goolge Maps for riding bicycles?

In the google maps , we always get the directions that tells you how to drive to some place , but i don't have a car, and i would like to know how i can get to the place by bicycle which would be better to follow than the directions for driving a car. Can anybody know how we can make the Goolge maps display the route for people who ride bicycles? Thank you very much!Can I get directions from Goolge Maps for riding bicycles?
Currently Google Maps does not have that functionality, they only give driving directions. Your best bet would be to use Ask.com 's maps and select the 'walking direction' feature. This will display walking routes, which are usually accessible to bicycles as well. You may want to cross-reference this with the driving directions as many urban areas require bicycles to act as cars and only use roads instead of sidewalks, check with the local community's biking page (seach the community and 'bike' in Yahoo! or Google) to see about any local restrictions.
