There is a button on the top right hand side of your keyboard called "Prt Sc" - Print Screen.
Push it while what you want to save apears on your screen.
Then go to Start -%26gt; Accesories -%26gt; Paint and open MS Paint.
On the top left side of the window, it says Edit. In the drop list there is the option Paste.

You can then save the file.

If you have Vista or Windows 7 you will probably find that the print-screen option doesn't work. There is, however, a better new function in these 2 OSes called the "Snipping Tool" - it should be under [Start button][Accessories] - when you run it make sure you have the web page visible on the screen, it should then go into the background and you will have a cross-hair, drag this over the area you want to capture then the tool will bring up the screenshot. You can then copy it and paste it into another application or save it as an image. There are also some annotation tools on there, if you want to highlight areas before you copy or save it.How do I save an image from google maps?
